The property

The hotel opened in 1983 as Hotel Lietuva, on the right bank of the Neris opposite the historic centre, and it has 291 rooms across 22 floors. It now operates under the Radisson Blu brand, and the tower is part of the skyline that grew up around it in the 2000s as the Europa business district took shape.

The casino inside it is the largest gaming floor in Lithuania, run by Olympic Casino Group Baltija. The combination is the same one that works in Riga: a large tower hotel with conference capacity, a full casino downstairs, and a historic city centre a short walk away across the river.

Location

Konstitucijos prospektas is the spine of the modern district, with the Europa tower, the city's tallest office buildings and a shopping centre within a couple of blocks. Cross the Neris and you are in the Old Town within fifteen minutes on foot; Gediminas Tower and Cathedral Square sit just beyond the bridge. The riverside path is the pleasant way to make that walk.
